Russell Maddock is a character introduced in the Knight Rider 2000 made-for-TV movie. He was the co-leader of F.L.A.G. before completely taking over after the death of Devon Miles. He was also the creator of the Knight Industries Four Thousand.
Background[]
Time at F.L.A.G.[]
Maddock was brought in as a counterpart for Devon Miles to help run the Foundation for Law and Government. However, he and Devon never did see eye-to-eye. Resulting in Devon bringing in Michael Knight to help with the Knight Four Thousand.
He later built his voice into the vehicle before Michael replaced it with KITT's CPU. After the death of Devon Miles, Russell completely took over F.L.A.G.'s operations and threatened to dissolved the Knight Four Thousand's operations. However, Michael and former police officer turned Foundation operative, Shawn McCormick, prevented this.
After the death of Thomas J. Watts, Michael returned to retirement and Russell continued to lead F.L.A.G. With Shawn and K.I.F.T. acting as its top operatives.
Knight Rider 2008[]
By 2008, Russell's seems to have retired from The Foundation. As he is not seen or mentioned and his position as executive director is filled by Sarah Graiman.

Maddock was cocky, arrogant and loved himself, he is also the original voice for KIFT
