The Rocket Boost function activates KITT's Retro-Rockets, giving KITT a quick burst of speed. Michael Knight first activated Rocket Boost to tow a huge tractor.

The Rocket Boost was used only once. It should be noted that Turbo Boost was used more to give KITT a quick burst of speed. The Rocket Boost was later replaced by Boost 1 and Boost 2.
