Jennifer Knight is a character in Knight Rider. Jennifer is the daughter of Wilton and Elizabeth Knight.
Background[]
For some time Jennifer headed and maintained Knight Industries, being one of the company's main shareholders. Then, four years after her father's death she unexpectedly suspends FLAG's operations, forcing Michael Knight and KITT out of a job.
Not long after, an international terrorist kidnaps Devon Miles and replaces him with a surgically altered impostor as a plot to acquire a new experimental isotope. Devon's changed behavior alerts Michael's suspicions and he tries to enlist Jennifer's help in investigating what is going on. She refuses to help, inadvertently giving away the real reason she shut down FLAG. Her decision had nothing to do with cutting costs as she claimed, it did however concern Michael himself. Having lived with her tyrannical mother and maniacal brother with only her kind father by her side. Jennifer is in reality frightened of Michael (who now looks like the brother she was always afraid of) turning out to be just like Garthe. And with her father gone, she believes she has no one to protect her from him.
While at work, with the imposter Devon, Jennifer gets caught up in the theft attempt. Michael and the newly rebuilt KITT race to save the her and real Devon and prevent the theft of the isotope.
Once she and Devon are saved an the isotope secured. Jennifer has a change of heart. She restores funding to FLAG, returning it to full operation. She also apologizes to Michael for comparing him to Garthe.
