Elliot Sykes is an engineer at Knight Industries as well as an operative of the Foundation for Law and Government. He is highly intelligent but also very clumsy, much to the chagrin of his co-workers.
Background[]
Elliot managed to graduate from collage with high praise, becoming an engineer at Knight Industries in record time. He also became an operative of F.L.A.G. around this time as well, but saw no field action until 1985.
Knight Rider (1982)[]
Elliot was assigned to work with Michael, KITT, Bonnie and Devon on a mission to investigate why a scientist was murdered by mysterious warriors from a long thought dead clan. Elliot was as clumsy as he was useful, with both Devon and Michael not believing him to be of any use.
Later, Elliot was assigned to protect Ali Raymond, however, he failed miserably due to his lack of field experience and Ali was kidnapped. He was promptly kidnapped when he tried to rescue her with Michael later on. But eventually helped Ali escape when she gave him a confidence boost.
After Ali's father's murderers were arrested by Michael and KITT, Elliot was made a full-time F.L.A.G. operative and awarded Knerd as his vehicle partner while Ali became his girlfriend.
Personality[]
Elliot is very smart and a brilliant engineer, being praised by Bonnie and helping to make the laser resistant alloy that KITT was applied with later in the same episode. However, he is also very clumsy and cowardly. But is able to prove himself under pressure after being given a confidence boost by Ali.
