Class Action is the name of a band that Michael Long's fiancé, Stephanie Mason, was apart of during the 1980's. It was later discovered after the murder of lead guitarist, Greg Noble, that the managers of the band were involved in drug smuggling. Their operation was later shut down after an investigation by the Foundation for Law and Government.
By 1986, Stephanie had seemingly left the band to pursue other opportunities. So, it is unknown what happened to the band after 1984.

Knight Rider (1982)[]
After going into witness protection, Stephanie Mason joined the band, Class Action, becoming its lead singer. She later met and fell in love with the band's lead guitarist, Greg Noble. However, he later discovered that the band's managers, Barbra Bellingham and Paul Block, were involved in drug smuggling. He was found out and subsequently killed for it.
After this discovery, Michael Knight read about his death in the paper's and decided to investigate the mysterious death. Due to it being close to Stephanie. He joined the band under an alias and became its new co-lead alongside Stephanie. Seeing this, Barbra and Paul continually tried to have Michael and Stephanie killed in so-called "accidents" but K.I.T.T. managed to save them every time.
With the help of Devon Miles and April Curtis, the Foundation managed to discover that hidden deep within the band's performance tapes were lines of code that when translated gave the direct instructions of the drug trafficking operation. Using this, F.L.A.G. managed to bust the drug runners and arrest both Barbra and Paul. As well as stop the assassination of Stephanie as she had discovered their operation.
After this, Michael bid farewell to Stephanie once more and moved on. But not before performing one last song with her, a song that meant something to them both, called White Bird.
In the aftermath of the case, it is unknown what happened to the band. With Stephanie leaving by 1986 and with the many deaths and arrests associated with the band, it is likely they broke up. However, this is never directly stated.
