Knight Rider

Officer Charlie Smith was a corrupt member of the Lydnhurst Flats Police Department. He also assisted in the murder and subsequent cover-up of Frank Reston.

Background[]

Knight Rider (1982)[]

Charlie joined the LFPD sometime in the past. He mainly worked patrols and did the bidding of Judge Ronald S. Paxton. That was until Frank Reston started snooping around into their operation. Which eventually got Devon Miles, the head of F.L.A.G., involved.

However, Charlie didn't meet Devon until he brought in Frank Reston on vagrancy charges. At some point during the night, Frank was killed. Leading Charlie and Rex to try and cover it up. Unfortunately for them, but Devon Miles was a witness to the crime. Forcing them to try and kill not only him, but his operative, Michael Knight.

Charlie, alongside the rest of his department, ultimately failed in this endeavor and was promptly arrested after Devon and Michael escaped into the next county and testified against them.

Personality[]

Not much is seen of Charlie's personality. Other than he is just as cold and morally bleak as the other officers of the police department.

Skills[]

Charlie appears to be an intelligent and capable officer. Although, he is mainly left behind to patrol the town.
